The Green Mule or Banner’s Mule
Mango and orange play nice with bourbon to create this fruity variation on a Kentucky Mule. Rather than use a simple syrup, you’ll use the sweetness from curacao and mango juice to contrast the lime juice and tame some of the burn from the bourbon and ginger beer.
Ingredients
- 2 oz 100 proof bourbon
- 1 oz lime juice
- 2 oz mango nectar
- ½ oz blue curacao
- 2 to 4 ounces ginger beer
- Garnish: fresh mint and fresh flowers fresh flowers
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, lime juice, mango nectar and curacao in a large rocks glass or mule mug. Stir to combine and add ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh mint and a fresh flower or two.
