Dazzle the tongue with this delectable blend of rum, coffee, chocolate and lime in a daiquiri you never expected would work. It’s a balance of sweet, bitter and sour all blended up in a cocktail that sells itself from the first sip to the last. You can make it without the mocha chocolate glaze, but it’s an awfully fun addition.
Combine rum, lime juice, coffee liqueur, cocoa liqueur and bitters in a shaker tin and fill with ice. Shake until the outside of the tin is so cold it’s hard to hold. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass with mocha glaze on the rim.
Notes
Mocha Glaze:Add equal parts powdered sugar and cocoa powder to a small bowl and stir until well combined. Add hot coffee in ½ oz increments, stirring in between until the glaze is thick and smooth. Let cool slightly before using.
