Dress up brunch away from home with a strawberry and a rose sugar cube and make your in-house brunch as fancy as going out. Choose a floral-forward gin to maintain the rose flavor from the sugar cube.
Put sugar cube and strawberry in the bottom of a shaker. Muddle until the sugar is broken down. Add lemon juice and gin and stir until sugar is mostly dissolved. Strain into a champagne flute and top with chilled champagne or seltzer and a slice of strawberry or a rose petal for garnish.
