Don’t Tart With Me - Grapefruit Hibiscus Highball
Grapefruit and hibiscus tame one another to pair with tequila in this riff on a highball. Bright and summery in color and taste, it's a feast for the eyes and a simple build-in-glass cocktail to get you through the afternoon.
Ingredients
- 2 oz grapefruit juice
- 1.5 oz tequila blanco
- ½ oz hibiscus simple syrup
- ½ oz limoncelleo
- 10 drops Crude bitters “Pooter” smoke and salt bitters
- Grapefruit soda to top
- Garnish: Lemon thyme fresh grapefruit
Instructions
- Combine grapefruit juice, tequila, hibiscus simple syrup, limoncello and bitters to a Collins glass and stir to combine. Add ice, top with grapefruit soda and garnish with lemon thyme and fresh grapefruit.
