Delve deep into citrus juices with a splash of bourbon added in. It’s a fruit-forward summer drink, served in a tall glass over a lot of ice. Perfect for a lazy afternoon on the porch, or a lovely brunch on the patio.
3ozgrapefruit juice(I used Natalie's Orchid Island Fruit Juice)
1ozstrawberry simple puree
½ozlemon juice(I used Natalie's Orchid Island Fruit Juice)
2ozbourbon
12drops Scrappy’s grapefruit bitters
Garnish: fresh sage sprig
Instructions
Combine grapefruit juice, lemon juice, strawberry simple, bourbon and bitters in a shaking tin and add ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker is painful to hold. Double strain into a Collins glass or tall glass with ice. Garnish with a fresh sage sprig.
