There are times when a cocktail just presents itself and the very first iteration just works. In this case, I was thinking about all the things I am thankful for - living in bourbon country, my Bourbon Women friends; Rivulet - all the sweet things in life; Meletti Amaro - the bitterness of challenges that force you to grow.
1.5 oz BIB bourbon
1 oz Meletti Amaro
0.5 oz Rivulet pecan liqueur
2 dashes ginger bitters
10 drops Woodford's sorghum and sassafras bitters
Combine in a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until well-chilled and strain into rocks glass with one large piece of ice. Cheers!
